Safe Working Procedures during Covid-19

The Government has advised that the housing market can continue to operate and we would like to reassure you that we are open and have updated our procedures accordingly.  The below processes explain how we are now working and what to expect during viewings and valuations.

Property Viewings - Before the viewing

• We will ring you to confirm your appointment.
• You will be asked to confirm that you are not suffering any symptoms or feeling unwell. (Viewings will be postponed if either party are experiencing covid-19 symptoms in the last 14 days).
• A maximum of 2 people from the same household are allowed in the property plus your DBK Consultant.

Property Viewings - During the viewing

• The occupier of the property will be asked to leave the property while the viewing is taking place. We will also ask for no pets to be present.
• The occupier will be asked to ensure the property is well ventilated and that all internal doors are open.
• You will be asked to remove your shoes, apply hand sanitiser and wear a facemask (if medically allowed) before entering the property.
• Everyone to adhere to the government guidance on social distancing.
• You will be asked not to touch anything during the viewing. Anything you touch will need to be cleaned with an antibacterial wipe.

Property Valuations

• We will continue to offer free valuations.
• Before we visit, please ensure all internal doors are open and that the property is well ventilated.
• We will remove our shoes, apply hand sanitiser and wear facemasks during the appointment.
• Everyone to adhere to the government guidance on social distancing.
• We will not touch anything in the property unless absolutely necessary.

• If you feel that you need to come into one of our offices, you will need to call us in advance to check with our team and an appointment will be booked if absolutely necessary.
